Therapy for Anxiety
Anxiety can be a struggle that affects both the mind and body.
One of my specialties is helping people who experience chronic anxiety. Anxiety may feel like your mind and body are running away with you, at times. There are various ways that people may experience anxiety that I help with:
- General anxiety
- Low self-esteem, worries of not being good enough, or being too much
- Perfectionism
- Panic attacks
- Social anxiety
- Sex and intimacy anxiety
- Chronic worrying or obsessing
- Difficulty with making decisions
- Losing focus easily
- Body manifestations of anxiety (feeling uncomfortable in your own skin, difficulty catching your breath, physical tension, chronic headaches or migraines, or gastrointestinal issues).
Anxiety can happen for a variety reasons, and part of our work is exploring and learning about what’s underlying your anxiety.
Our Work Together
In my therapy practice, I specialize in working with various forms of anxiety. We will go at your pace in a safe, supportive, and reflective process as we come to understand what is underlying your experience of anxiety. We will work to create insight and awareness as we also work through the anxieties and what is underlying them. Throughout our process, I am here to help and support you as we work together to resolve this issue.
