I specialize in helping people who struggle with all forms of anxiety. I know if you’re coming to me for help that you’re likely feeling overwhelmed with emotions or thoughts that feel beyond your control. It may even feel at times like your mind and/or body is being taken over or consumed by these surging feelings. You’re not alone in this, and we will work together to help you through it and regain your emotional footing.
Anxiety can present in a variety ways, and the underlying causes often differ from person to person. I aim to learn about you and your experience of anxiety, and your own history as we work together. Here are some ways that anxiety can show up:
- General anxiety about the world, work, health, or family
- Low self-esteem, worries of not being good enough, or of being too much
- Perfectionism
- Panic attacks
- Social anxiety
- Sex and intimacy anxiety
- Chronic worrying or obsessing
- Difficulty with making decisions
- Losing focus easily
- Irritability
- Body manifestations of anxiety (feeling uncomfortable in your own skin, difficulty catching your breath, physical tension, chronic headaches or migraines, or gastrointestinal issues)
- Other symptoms not listed here
