Nathan Feiles, MSW, LCSW-R

I have a background in various modalities of therapy, which offers the ability to integrate a number of possible tools into our work together, as appropriate. The overall style of our work is based in relational psychotherapy. This space is for you — to address the struggles you’re having in your life, to have the conversations you want to have, work through emotions, make changes to your life (emotionally and practically), learn about yourself on a deeper level, reflect and discover, and more.

Background & First Session

Nathan Feiles, therapy officeI am an LCSW-R (licensed clinical social worker with reimbursement privilege — this will help you to be reimbursed by your insurance for our sessions if you are covered out of network). I have a master’s degree from NYU and trained for four years post-graduate in comprehensive adult psychotherapy and contemporary analytical therapy from the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in NYC.

At our first session, I’d like to learn about what brings you here while also starting to learn about you, your current situation, and a bit of your history, as well. It’s okay if not every emotion or life detail is ready to come out right away. It takes time to build trust and readiness for certain conversations to come forward. We will work at your pace. A good first step is just starting the conversation.
