Nathan Feiles, LCSW-R

I am an LCSW, having studied for my masters at NYU, and trained for four years post-graduate in comprehensive adult psychotherapy and contemporary relational analysis at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in NYC. Along side of this, I also have a background in various other modalities of therapy, which allows the flexibility for us to integrate a number of possible tools into our work together, as appropriate. Our process is always based on your individual needs.

Overall, I aim to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable space for you. I know it’s not easy to come in with your deepest vulnerabilities and personal struggles you are experiencing in life. I hope this can be a space where you can slow things down, take the time to breathe and reflect, and go at your pace as we work together to make the changes you desire.

What to Expect in the First Session

Nathan Feiles, therapy officeTherapy often starts by just getting to know you and learning about the struggles you’re dealing with. As we move forward, the conversations will expand and we’ll begin looking at deeper experiences that have led to where you are now. Through this process, we’ll start to connect the dots between what happened in the past to what’s presently going on in your life today. As we deepen your self-awareness and emotionally work through difficult experiences, you are engaging in the process of ultimately healing and moving forward.
