Life can be overwhelming and stressful, sometimes in spite of our best efforts to manage everything. When starting to lose our grasp on holding everything together the way maybe you previously could, your mind and body can actually start to show you something is off. Emotionally, you may notice feeling more anxious, depressed, have less bandwidth for stress and routines such as work, school, parenting, etc. You may notice you’re feeling triggered or activated by seemingly smaller things that normally wouldn’t be a big deal.
The body can also signal when it’s time to slow down and take some time reflect in therapy. You may experience migraines, headaches, panic attacks, GI symptoms, IBS flare ups, chronic pain, and more. The discomfort can even get to the point where you’re having to miss work frequently, or struggle through several days of the week in pain, or other symptoms.
When you are feeling out of sync, as a therapist, I’m here to help you heal and find your way forward in your life again. Whether it’s needing emotional support, creating changes in your life, or working on healing trauma and old wounds that may be surfacing and impacting life now, therapy is a space for you to feel safe while sorting through the challenges that life can bring.
To take the first step, send me a message to see how I can help.
