It can be a bit cliche to say that “life can be really hard.” However, it really can be. The day-to-day demands can create an environment of stress and anxiety that can be overwhelming at times. Life experiences not only from the present, but also from past trauma can set the stage for things like anxiety, panic attacks, and depression to show up in the present. Many people I work with struggle with these symptoms, and can also experience phobias such as fear of flying and agoraphobia. I also help people who struggle with relationship patterns, including Grass Is Greener Syndrome; and I help people who struggle with chronic migraines and headaches.
When struggling with mental health, it can sometimes be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel to a place where there is more joy and fulfillment to be found. Our experiences throughout life tend to set us up with how we experience life in the present, and things such as trauma, being bullied, in an unstable or unpredictable home growing up, and many other things can make it hard to feel emotionally (and sometimes physically) safe and grounded in the present.
In therapy, I offer a safe space where we can go at your pace to sort through feelings and thoughts, and life in general, and help you to move forward from the internal obstacles that can hold you back. Contact me if you’d like to work together.
