In my practice, I specialize in a number of areas. Some are more common, such as anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and others. However, it is my unique specialties that reach many people who need help in these areas and have a hard time finding the appropriate care for. One of my specialties is helping people overcome fear of flying. I have my own internationally recognized approach for this issue that I’ve been using for many years now. Rooted in emotions and psychology, it focuses on the the various avenues within people that fuels their fear of flying, helping to normalize the experience psychologically and emotionally. Since it is a personalized approach, it is always adjusted based on where you are in your own process, and your history. I also work with agoraphobia which is a separate issue from flying, but often lead to anxiety with flying as well.
Another of my unique specialties is working with Grass Is Greener Syndrome. Many people experience this as constantly starting over in areas of life, such as relationships, career, where to live, or otherwise. It can be hard to experience fulfillment, or feeling good enough in present situations, and people may find themselves repeatedly going to the “next” situation looking for the best or ideal, often only to be disappointed again.
I also have specialties in helping people who struggle with chronic migraines work through the emotional elements that can contribute to migraine attacks. While for some migraines may be a medically-based issue, migraine headaches and chronic pain are often a combination of medical and mental health, including reactions to trauma. People often come to me for therapy for their migraine headaches when the medical approaches haven’t helped as much as desired.
