However, sometimes our emotions and thoughts have a way of running away with ourselves. It can result in feelings of anxiety, being unsettled, or even feeling overstimulated and panicked, sad or depressed, or other feelings that seem out of your control. Chronic pain, migraines, or other physiological experiences may show up, as well.

Oftentimes, it’s not only our minds and bodies that may not cooperate, it can also be the functioning of our relationship dynamics, or patterns of relating with others that end up in conflict, distance, or difficulty with creating and sustaining intimacy. You may end up scared to take risks, or find yourself tossing aside healthy and beneficial relationships when you are struggling.
