Our minds and bodies have a way of showing us when we are out of sync with ourselves. When you’re not feeling grounded and are struggling to feel comfortable within your own skin, this is often when people will start therapy. Everyone responds differently to life stress, or the complexities of relationships, career, or otherwise. In fact, for many people it’s the demands of the society, pressures of work, and struggles in relationships that can have a way of bringing up old trauma, triggering anxiety and/or depression, and can leave people struggling in parts of life that never used to be so hard in the past.
I also work with people who struggle with fear of flying, grass is greener syndrome, agoraphobia, panic attacks, and more. While every person’s struggle and reasons for these struggles are different than the person next to them, when we are out of sync emotionally, everything else can start to feel more difficult and overwhelming.
In therapy, we work together to help you bring your mind and body to a place where you can be more settled and grounded in your day to day life, while also helping you be more empowered in your life and within yourself as a whole. We always go at your pace. Your care and your needs are the priority.
