Therapy for Residents of Rye, NY

Contact

I work with a variety of different mental and emotional health issues in my therapy and coaching practice. There are many reasons that people may start therapy, and all reasons are welcome. The pace and demand of life in today’s society is enough to need a place to be able to slow down and just reflect, sort out thoughts and feelings, while having space to just pay attention to your own needs for a bit. The time to regularly check in with yourself can be an incredibly valuable resource in a society that is also placing more expectations and stressors onto people.

When people are carrying too much emotional weight, which has often been building for years, since childhood, there are a number of ways people start to notice. You may notice things are feelings heavier, or it’s harder to find joy and happiness. Or, you may be worrying more, anxious, developing fears or phobias that you may not have struggled with in the past. You may even notice your body responding in ways you’re not used to, whether migraines, or other forms of pain and ailments that weren’t there either. It’s possible your relationships are struggling and you’re finding difficult to connect. And more. Whatever it may be for you, if life is starting to give you symptoms, it’s time to reach out for help.
