One of my specialties is helping people who struggle with migraines. Migraines are an event that’s beyond just a simple headache, and can have a significant impact on a person’s life as a whole. As part of our work, we look to understand in what ways migraines impact your life (family, career, relationships, etc.), what comprises your particular migraine environment — concretely, psychologically, and emotionally (for example, stress, sleep/eating habits, repressed anger, etc.), and what adjustments we can make in each area to decrease both frequency and severity of occurrences.
